Mosley boys soccer ended their season last night at the district tournament with a 2-0 loss to Crestview at Crestview. Warren Fleer had one save in a game that Mosley dominated but came out on the losing end. The Dolphins final record was 10-4-3.

Andrew Beasley scored two goals to lead Mosley to a 3-1 win over county rival Bay. Mosley finished the regular season undefeated against Bay County foes 5-0-1. Mark Grant also had a goal while Stephen Ray had an assist. Keeper Blake Nobles had six saves. The Dolphins (10-3-3) play in the district tournament against host Crestview Tuesday at 5:00 pm.

In the JV match, Arnold defeated Mosley 4-2. Jerrell Crum and Greg Salazar each had a goal and Caleb Watson had two assists. Nathan Gutcher had one save and Josh Hoey had two. The JV finished their season with a 7-7-3 record and won the county championship for the eighth season in row.

Mosley won its twelfth consecutive county championship in boys soccer last night with a 0-0 tie against Arnold. Keeper Warren Fleer had seven saves and the Dolphins record is now 9-3-3. Mosley travels to Leon on Thursday.

The JV won its eighth county championship in a row with a 4-2 win over Arnold. Caleb Watson scored two goals, Gabe Conway had a goal and an assist, and Justin Reed added the other goal. Assists were by Jerrell Crum, Jon Bottomy, and Nick Cowan. Josh Hoey had five saves and the JV record is 7-6-3.

Andrew Beasley scored both of Mosley's goals, one solo and one assisted by Jeremy Pitts in a district boys soccer match last night at Niceville, leading the Dolphins to a 2-0 win. Goalkeeper Josh Duncan got the shutout with seven saves. Mosley's record is now 9-3-2 (4-1 in district) and they will host Crestview Saturday in the final district games of the season.

The Mosley boys defeated Bay High Saturday by a score of 3-0 in a frigid soccer match at Bozeman. Mark Grant, Andrew Beasley, and Jamison Hall scored goals for the Dolphins who are now 8-3-2. Brad Gatta added two assists and Warren Fleer had four saves in the shutout. Mosley travels to Niceville Tuesday for a district match.

The boys JV team defeated Arnold 5-1 on a hat trick by Cole Moreau and two goals by Caleb Watson. Zach Bradgon had one assist and keeper Josh Hoey had two saves. The JV record improved to 6-5-3.

Mosley defeated district rival Fort Walton Beach last night by a score of 3-1 in a boys soccer match at Bozeman. Andrew Beasley scored two goals and Mark Grant had one goal and one assist. Jamison Hall added two assists. Keeper Blake Nobles had one save in the first half and Josh Duncan had two in the second. Mosley is now 7-3-2 (3-1 in district) and they play Bay High Saturday at 12:00 at Bozeman. Come out and support the Dolphins against Bay High.

Andrew Beasely scored two goals and Jamison Hall one, assisted by Brad Gatta, Hunter Frye, and Mark Grant. Keeper Warren Fleer had 4 saves. The varsity record is 6-3-2 and they host Fort Walton Beach Thursday at Bozemen.

In the JV match, Mosley shutout Rutherford by a score of 2-0. Gabe Conway and Caleb Watson scored one goal each, and were assisted by Jon Bottomy on both. Josh Hoey and Nathan Gutcher shared the shutout with three saves each. The JV record is 5-5-3 and they also play Fort Walton Beach Thursday.

Mosley lost to Lincoln 2-1 yesterday in a boys soccer match played in Tallahassee. Mosley's goal was scored by Andrew Beasley and assisted by Mark Grant. The halftime scored was 1-1, but the Dolphins couldn't hold off undefeated Lincoln who scored in the 45th minute and then held on for the victory. Keeper Blake Nobles had three saves and Josh Duncan had four. The varsity record going into the Christmas break is 4-3-2 and they play Rutherford on Jan 5.

In the JV game, Lincoln defeated Mosley 6-1 with three goals in the first half and three in the second. Greg Salazar scored for the Dolphins assisted by James Graydon. Nathan Gutcher had two saves and Josh Hoey one. The JV record is 4-5-2.

The Mosley boys defeated Gainsville Eastside 2-1 Friday at the Capital City Classic Tournament in Tallahassee. At the end of regulation time, the game was tied 1-1 on a first half goal by Jamison Hall and assisted by Andrew Beasely. In the shootout the score was tied at 4-4 after the first round, but Richard Santora scored the winning goal in sudden death for an exciting 5-4 finish. Keeper Warren Fleer had seven saves, including one block in the shootout. The remainder of the tournament was rained out. Mosley is 5-2-2 and they play Lincoln Tuesday, JV at 5 and varsity at 7 pm.

In boys soccer, the Mosley JV team fought to a 2-2 tie with the Port St. Joe varsity last night at Tommy Oliver Stadium. After trailing 0-2 at halftime, Hunter Frye and Cole Moreau scored goals assisted by Caleb Watson and Jon Bottomy. Nathan Gutcher had one save in the first half and Josh Hoey had four in the second. The JV record is 4-4-3 and they play at Lincoln next Tuesday.

Warren Fleer and Josh Duncan each had four saves, but the Mosley boys soccer team could not hold off Lincoln last night in a 4-0 defeat at Harders Park. The varsity record is 4-2-2 and their next games will be in the Capital City Classic tournament this weekend in Tallahassee.

Goalkeepers Warren Fleer had five saves and Blake Nobles had six. The varsity record is 4-1-2 (2-1 in district).

Andrew Beasley and Cole Nycum scored the other two goals. Keeper Josh Duncan got the shutout with four saves. Mosley is 4-0-2 (2-0 in district) and plays another district game Friday with Niceville at Tommy Oliver Stadium. 5:00 JV and 7:00 varsity.

Nathan Gutcher and Josh Hoey each had two saves. The JV record is 3-3-2 and the also play Niceville Friday.

Mosley fought to a 3-3 tie with Choctaw last night in a boys soccer match at Harders Park. Andrew Beasely had one goal and one assist. Jamison Hall and Jonathon Urbina scored the other two goals and Brad Gatta and Mark Grant each had an assist. Keeper Warren Fleer had twelve saves for the Dolphins who are now 4-0-1.

Mosley shutout Arnold in a county match at Harders Park Nov 23 by a score of 2-0. In a hard fought contest, Andrew Beasley scored a first half goal assisted by a cross from Stephen Ray. Stephen Ray then scored in the second half assisted by a cross from Jamison Hall. Keeper Warren Fleer earned the shutout with four saves. The varsity record is now 3-0-1.

In the JV match Mosley tied Arnold 3-3. Leading 3-1 with twenty minutes to go, the Dolphins gave up a goal on a cross from the left and then allowed a PK two minutes later for the tie. Mosley goals were by Jerrell Crum, Jon Bottomy and Caleb Watson with assists from Jerrell Crum and Zach Bragdon. Keeper Josh Hoey had four saves. The JV record is now 2-2-2.

Mosley next plays Choctaw on Monday, Nov 30 at Harders Park, JV at 5:00 and varsity at 7:00 pm.

Nov 20-21, 2009 - Rutherford JV Tournament

Mosley JV 0, Lincoln 0


The Mosley finished Rutherford's JV Invitiational Tournament with a 1-1-1 record. On Friday, the Dolphins fought to a 0-0 tie with a strong Lincoln team. With good scoring opportunities early and late in the game, the defensive and midfield effort was very good throughout. Keeper Nathan Gutcher was outstanding with 12 saves.

Saturday morning Mosley defeated Marianna 7-1 on goals by Cole Moreau, Jon Bottomy, Gabe Conway, Justin Reed, Hunter Frye and Caleb Watson. Reed also scored a penalty kick while Jon Bottomy, Jerrell Crum and Zach Nelson had assists. Josh Hoey had two saves and Nathan Gutcher one.

In the final game Leon defeated Mosley for the second time in a week, this time by a 2-0 score. The halftime score was 0-0, but goals in the 30th and 37th minutes of the second half sealed the win. Leon outshot Mosey 9-4. Nathan Gutcher had five saves in goal.
The JV record is now 2-2-1 and they face Arnold on Monday at 5 pm at Harders Park.

Mosley opened its district soccer season with an 8-1 victory at Crestview last night. Andrew Beasley scored two goals and two assists. Mark Grant and Jamison Hall each had two goals for Mosley, and Richard Santora and Joey Jacobsen each had a goal and an assist. Matt Perles, Eric Taylor and Jonathan Urbina also had assists for the Dolphins. Keepers Warren Fleer and Blake Nobles had one save in goal each. Mosley is now 2-0-1 and plays Arnold on Monday at Harders Park.

In boys soccer, Mosley fought to a tie last night at Harders, in a back and forth game that ended in a 5-5 tie. Leading 4-2 at halftime on goals by Jonathan Urbina, Matt Perles, Eric Taylor and Andrew Beasley, the Dolphins let Leon come back to tie and then take the lead. Brad Gatta scored the tieing goal for Mosely assisted by Stephen Ray. Josh Duncan had three saves and Warren Fleer had five. The boys are now 1-0-1 and travel to Crestview Thursday.

Jamison Hall, Sam Coffman and Cole Nycum added the other goals while Stephen Ray and Jonathan Urbina each had one assist. Josh Duncan had 4 saves and Warren Fleer had 3 saves in goal. The Dolphins play Arnold Thursday at 7:00 at Rutherford in a second preseason match.

Mosley's boys soccer season ended last night in a District Tournament defeat against Lincoln by a score of 5-1. Stephen Ray scored the Dolphins loan goal assisted by Andrew Underhill. Warren Fleer and Blake Nobles each had two saves in goal. The varsity end-of-season record is 14-6-1.

The Mosley boys soccer team defeated Choctaw by a score of 4 to 1 at Choctaw last night to end the regular season with a record of 14-5-1. Austin Rogers scored two goals and Jonathan Urbina and Jamison Hall each added one. Stuart Branstetter had two assists and Andrew Beasley and Zach DeVaux each had one. Blake Nobles made 5 saves in goal. The Dolfins meet Lincoln next Wednesday in the District Tournament.

In the JV match Mosley ended its season with a 0-0 tie to finish with a 13-4-2 record. Josh Duncan had 7 saves.

Mosley boys soccer won its eleventh county championship in a row last night with a 2-1 victory over Bay High. Andrew Beasley scored a goal on a penalty kick to make the halftime score 1-1, and Austin Rogers scored the game winner unassisted with three minutes left in the second half. Keeper Warren Fleer had five saves. Mosley's record improved to 13-5-1 and they travel to Choctaw on Thursday.

In JV match, the Dolphins won their seventh county championship in a row with a 3-2 win over Bay. Eric Taylor had one goal and two assists, Jeremie Murray added another goal and Matt Perles scored the game winner in the last minute. James Graydon also had an assist and Josh Duncan had three saves. The JV record is 13-4-1.

Jan. 16, 2009 vs. Lincoln

MHS Varsity 0, Lincoln 2

Mosley suffered more than the cold weather on Friday night as Lincoln handed out two defeats to the Dolphins during the seniors' last home game. In the varsity match Lincoln scored a first half goal and a second half goal for a 2-0 win while Mosley could not put the ball in the net. Warren Fleer logged six saves on the night. The varsity record is now 12-5-1 (3-4-1 district) and they play Bay at Bozeman on Monday. The loss gave Mosley third seed in the district tournament and they will meet number two seed Lincoln again on Wednesday, Jan 28, at Chiles (7 pm eastern time).

In the JV game, Mosley allowed five first half goals and two in the second half for a 7-0 loss. In an uncharacteristic performance, the JV was shutout for the first time this season and had allowed more than two goals only once before. Josh Duncan had nine saves and the JV record fell to 12-4-1, 5-3 district (second to Lincoln). They also play Bay Monday at Bozeman.

The Mosley boys JV soccer team defeated Bay High last night at Tommy Oliver Stadium by a score of 6-1. Cole Nycum had two goals and one assist, Matt Perles two goals, Eric Taylor one goal and two assists and Jeremy Pitts one goal. Jeremie Murray added an assist to complete the scoring. Keeper Josh Duncan had five saves. The JV improved to 12-3-1 and will play Lincoln at Tommy Oliver Friday night.

Mosley's second half rally fell short last night as the Dolphins went down 2-1 against Chiles in boys soccer. Andrew Beasley scored the lone goal on an assist by Zach DeVaux. Blake Nobles had 13 saves. Mosley's record is 12-4-1 and they host Lincoln on Friday night.

In the JV match Mosley defeated Chiles by a close 1-0 score. Jeremy Pitts scored the first half goal on an assist by Matt Perles as the Dolphins improved to 11-3-1. Keeper Josh Duncan notched the shutout with 15 saves.

Austin Rogers gave Mosley boys soccer a one goal lead in the first half, but Rutherford scored on two penalty kicks in the second half for a 2-1 win over the Dolphins Friday night at Tommy Oliver Stadium. The loss gives Mosley a 12-3-1 record, 3-2-1 in district. Warren Fleer had five saves and the boys travel to Chiles today.

In the JV match, Mosley improved to 10-3-1 with a 7-0 win over Rutherford. Matt Perles had two goals and two assists, Jeremy Pitts had two goals and one assist, Jeremie Murray had one goal and two assists while Jamison Hall and Cole Nycum had one goal each. Eric Taylor and Brendan Hill had one assist each. Keeper Josh Duncan had two saves in his seventh shutout.

Mosley won a pair of boys soccer games over district foe Leon night before last in Tallahassee. In the varsity match, the Dolphins won by a score of 2-1 on a first half goal by Zach DeVaux, assisted by Andrew Beasley and a second half unassisted goal by Kyle Adams. Keeper Warren Fleer had 11 saves. The varsity is now 12-2-1 and plays Rutherford Friday night.

In the JV game, Mosley won by a 4-0 score with two goals by Matt Perles, one by Jeremy Pitts, and one by Jeremie Murray. Jamison Hall, Cole Nycum, and Josh Duncan each had an assist. Josh Duncan had five saves. The JV record is 9-3-1.

Dec. 19, 2008 vs. Arnold

MHS Varsity 5, Arnold 0

Mosley's boys defeated county rival Arnold 5-0 in a Friday night match at immaculate Gavlak Stadium. Kyle Adams broke a scoreless tie in the 40th minute on an assist from Andrew Beasley and Andrew then scored himself a minute later to give the Dolphins a 2-0 halftime score. Arnold packed the defense and mounted little offense, but was able to frustrate the Dolphins' constant attacks for most of the night. In the second half, Stephen Ray scored on a penalty kick, Beasley got his second goal on an assist from Stuart Branstetter, and Jonathan Urbina put in a corner kick from Stephen Ray that was nearly in by itself. Blake Nobles and Warren Fleer combined for the shutout; Blake had one save in the first half and Warren none in the second. Mosley's varsity record is now 11-2-1 (2-1-1 district 2/5A, 4-0 county) at the Christmas break and they will travel to Leon for a district match on Jan 6.

 

JV: Cancelled

The JV match was cancelled because several of Arnold's team was sick with a virus. We'll try to reschedule the match for after the break. The JV record at the break is 8-3-1 (2-2 district, 3-0 county) and they will also travel to Leon on Jan 6.

Mosley traveled to Crestview last night and came away with a 7-0 win in boys soccer. Stuart Branstetter led the scoring with two goals and one assist. Andrew Beasley had one goal and three assists. Other goals were by Stephen Ray, Zach DeVaux, Austin Rogers, and Mark Grant. Keeper Warren Fleer had two saves and Blake Nobles had one. The varsity record is now 10-2-1 and they play Arnold Friday.

The Mosley boys won first place in the Wakulla High School soccer tournament this weekend at Wakulla. Mosley defeated a big and physical Suwannee team Friday night by a 7-3 score after trailing early in the second half. Saturday morning the Dolphins mercy-ruled an injury-plagued Wakulla 8-0. In the last match, after leading a skillful Maclay team at half time 1-0, Mosley broke the game open for a 5-1 victory and the tournament trophy. Top goal scorers were Austin Rogers (5 goals, 4 assists), Kyle Adams (4 goals, 3 assists) and Jonathan Urbina (3 goals). Other scoring were Stuart Branstetter (2 goals, 2 assists), Andrew Beasley (2 goals, 1 assist), Brad Gatta (2 goals, 1 assist), Andrew Underhill (1 goal, 2 assists), Ian Allen (1 goal, 1 assist), and one assist each by Graham Ball, Stephen Ray, and Jackson Platt. Keeper Warren Fleer had 5 saves and Blake Nobles had 4 saves on the weekend. The varsity record is 9-2-1 and they travel to Crestview Tuesday.

Kyle Adams scored the game winning goal in the 80th minute last night to give Mosley a 3-2 come-from-behind district win against Leon at Tommy Oliver Stadium. Kyle Adams had two goals and one assist, Andrew Beasley two goals, Stuart Branstetter two goals, Austin Rogers one goal and three assists, Brad Gatta one goal and one assist and Jonathan Urbina one goal. Other assists were by Graham Ball, Mark Grant and Stephen Ray. The Dolphin record is 5-2-1 and they host Leon Monday.

The Mosley boys defeated Rutherford last night in a cold district soccer match at Rutherford by a score of 4-3. Goals were scored by Zach DeVaux, Brad Gatta, Stuart Branstetter and Graham Ball. Kyle Adams, Andrew Beasley and Mark Grant each had an assist and keeper Warren Fleer had eight saves. The boys record is 4-2-1 (1-1-1 in district) and they host Arnold at Harders Park Thursday.

Mosley's record is 3-2-1 and they travel to Rutherford on Tuesday.

Mosley lost a pair of boys soccer matches to Chiles last night at Harders Park. In the varsity game, Andrew Beasley scored the lone goal unassisted in the first half. One Chiles goal came in the first half and the other in the second as they won by a score of 2-1. Warren Fleer had nine saves in goal. Mosley's record is 2-2-1 and they travel to Walton today for a varsity only match at 6:00 pm.

Mosley captured the second place trophy in the Rutherford JV tournament this weekend at Harders Park. After playing Leon to a 1-1 tie Friday night on a goal by Jeremie Murray, the Dolphins defeated Choctaw and Bay by scores of 3-0 and 3-0 to advance to the championship match Saturday evening. Richard Santora scored early for Mosley, but Lincoln notched two second half goals for the win. Matt Perles scored two goals, Jeremie Murray another against Bay, and one each were added by Jon Bottomy, Jamison Hall, and Andrew Hall during the weekend. Keeper Josh had 25 saves in the four games.

8-0 win. Austin Rogers scored a hat trick (three goals) with one assist to lead the
scoring. Kyle Adams had one goal and two assists and Mark Grant one goal and one
assist. Other goals were by Jackson Platt, Stephen Ray, and Jonathan Urbina.
Stuart Branstetter had two assists and Graham Ball one. Keeper Blake Nobles picked
up two saves. Mosley's record is 2-1-1 and they host Chiles on Monday.

Mosley opened its District schedule with a 3-3 tie at Tallahassee Lincoln last night. Kyle Adams first half goal gave Mosley a 1-0 halftime lead. In the second half, the Dolphins led by scores of 2-1 on a goal by Stuart Branstetter and then 3-2 on a goal by Austin Rogers as Lincoln was able to tie each time. Austin Rogers assisted on one goal and keeper Warren Fleer had eight saves. Mosley's record is 1-1-1 and they host Marianna on Thursday.

The JV record is 2-0 and they also travel to Lincoln Tuesday.

Mosley opened the boys soccer season last night against Choctawhatchee at Harders. Despite leading 1-0 at half time and dominating most of the game, the Dolphins gave up two second half goals to lose 2-1. Mosley's lone goal was scored by Kyle Adams and assisted by Stuart Branstetter. Warrren Fleer and Blake Nobles each had three saves. Mosley plays Bay tomorrow at Harders at 3:00 pm.
